This site was put together for my friend from seminary, Jamey Heit. Jamey has written some great books and was hoping to have an author site that would showcase his most recent book, The Springfield Reformation, as well as be a place where people could contact him, find out more about his writings and keep track of his speaking schedule.

I modified the WP Premium WordPress Theme for this design, and even did some of my own photography of Jamey which you can see here.

The site was built using WordPress as the Content Management System.

In addition to the Camp Longridge Redesign, they also wanted a more updated version of their logo. I didn’t change the logo significantly, because I wanted to maintain some consistency with the logo that people would be familiar with. But I wanted to add some new colors to make the logo’s colors “pop” more. I also experimented with some different fonts. The font used on the previous logo was a variant of Times New Roman and I wanted to pick something that would be a big more unique to Camp Longridge. After providing a few different color options for the client, they chose to go with the red & black version of the logo.

This was a complete redesign of the Camp Longridge Camp. The previous site had a wealth of content, but it was all over the place on the site and it was hard to find certain information. So part of the task and challenge for this site was to re-organize the information in ways that made sense to both those familiar with the camp and those who might just run across the website for the first time.

As this was a summer camp, one of the important aspects for the client was to share the photos from the summer on the site - so we used the power of Monoslideshow + Flickr into the site and created some really great slideshows.

The site was built using WordPress as the Content Management System. The design for the site is a custom-made theme, made specifically for Camp Longridge.

This header logo was designed in addition to the Hope Lutheran Church youth group website redesign (described here). Their youth group is divided up into the Way, the Truth and the Life - so, 3 groups. In addition to the symbolism of the Trinity, it seemed that a good logo choice would incorporate the 3-in-1 idea, so we went with the three circles interlocking for the logo for the youth group, The Answer.

This youth group site was created for a friend of mine who was looking for a place where the students in his youth group could interact online and where he could post information that would be helpful for parents of the youth as well. The site has a lot of photos, makes good use of Google Calendar for each of his separate groups and videos to show the types of things that go on at youth group.

The site was designed in Adobe Photoshop and put together using TextMate and WordPress was the Content Management System.
