This youth group site was created for a friend of mine who was looking for a place where the students in his youth group could interact online and where he could post information that would be helpful for parents of the youth as well. The site has a lot of photos, makes good use of Google Calendar for each of his separate groups and videos to show the types of things that go on at youth group.

The site was designed in Adobe Photoshop and put together using TextMate and WordPress was the Content Management System.

I had worked with this client before on the Abbey of the Arts redesign. She wanted a clean and simple site that would be for her creative program. This site was designed in Photoshop and put together using WordPress as the Content Management System.

This site was put together for a good friend’s small business. He’s involved in the athletic training industry and wanted a site to help share information about the type of training he does, help market himself to new clients and get the word out. This was the first time I did a site for an athletic business, but I think it turned out pretty well.

He already had the logo for TCA (The Complete Athlete) so I had to work with graphics that already existed.

I designed this site for the Kentucky Baptist Fellowship (as well as their own site). They needed a way to spotlight some of the really great mission work the churches in Kentucky are doing, and this site seemed able to do it with the focus on the photos of their work.

This site is powered by WordPress as the Content Management System.

Christine had a logo from a stamp carving she did – I took her logo and created a more refined digital version of it in Illustrator. As for the site, this was my first design that I made from scratch, without using another WordPress template. Starting with the Photoshop CS2 mockup, I then created the XHTML & CSS, and then “WordPressed” it – which basically means inserting in all the proper PHP code that WordPress runs off of.
