Kelly Bean contacted me looking for a new site to feature some of her work, writing and speaking ventures. We collaborated on the design and content for this site together, and she and I are both pleased with how the final result turned out. This site is built with WordPress.

This site was put together for my friend from seminary, Jamey Heit. Jamey has written some great books and was hoping to have an author site that would showcase his most recent book, The Springfield Reformation, as well as be a place where people could contact him, find out more about his writings and keep track of his speaking schedule.

I modified the WP Premium WordPress Theme for this design, and even did some of my own photography of Jamey which you can see here.

The site was built using WordPress as the Content Management System.

My current blog design for pomomusings uses Cleaker (my WordPress theme) as the foundation. I stayed with the 3-column layout, but added an additional news column above the two right sidebars for both my Twitter feed and some other miscellaneous items, including some Google Adsense ads. I’ve been told that it’s a striking design, both bold with its colors and layout.

Sarah had been using Typepad for blogging for a couple of years, as I had been before switching to WordPress, but she didn’t want to switch until I could design her a cool looking blog theme. So, this is her theme for Serendipity. She wanted a light colored theme, something minimalistic with warm colors, and something that would focus on her writing. And this is what we came up with.

I designed the blog design for QueerMessages.com for my good friend Tony, who has created and deleted more blogs in his lifetime than anyone else I know. This one has been around for awhile, and we’re all better because of that. The header incorporates an image of the Chicago skyline. Tony told me he wanted a brown and coral color scheme, and initially, I thought he was crazy; but I think it turned out pretty great in the end. The site is built with WordPress as the Content Management System.

Today I launched do•love•walk. This site’s code is basically a modified Cutline, but I was able to play a lot with the design of the site. The site was created using Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Smultron, a very basic text editor. The site is powered by WordPress as the Content Management System.

Today KristinNoelle.com launches. This is the first site that I’ve designed for WordPress, and much of the code is largely thanks to Kubrick. Kristin Noelle had come up with a design that she wanted, and basically hired me to create the identical design in XHTML & CSS. Other than a few minor things, I was able to match her design down to the pixel, which was pretty sweet.
